A friend sent me this video. Incredible! This woman lives in an 84-square-foot house. She limits herself to 300 things. I am impressed!

Tom and I don't have a house quite that small in mind, but we are looking to build something that maximizes the use of inside space so that we can keep the total footprint small.

Some rich friends of mine that live in a 5900 sq ft house mentioned this story and thought it was silly. And I thought it was really cool. Some people just get the space/footprint/carbon/resource thing and some people don't. My friends have 4 people in their house, that means each person gets nearly 1500 sq ft. Much more ridiculous than an 84 sq ft house, if you ask me.
